Self-sabotage

I was more carefree with my life at this time last year, but thought I was being careless.
I was trying real hard at this time last year, but you can’t prevent self-sabotage.
I was making plans and decisions at this time last year, but now I can’t remember how important they were.
I was able to take it easier at this time last year, but easy is easy to take.
Things came easier at this time last year, but easy come easy… come.
I was more proud at this time last year, but I had reason to be.
I was more desperate at this time last year, but I had things to be desperate about.
I was in love at this time last year, but didn’t know it.

i left you a comment reply back on my page, but i’ll tell you here too… the link you gave for other reading lists gave me a photo of chicks in bikinis in some sort of beauty pageant mode, no joke. i tried it a bunch of times. so i thought maybe it was on purpose. i guess it’s not!
and, yeah… the coffee shop was piping hot back in the day. sigh….

Thanks Sassy, I finally realized what you were talking about this morning when I clicked on the link. It fucking cracked me up. It wasn’t a joke, I just wasn’t paying attention to what i was doing. If anyone reading this wants to know what Sassy was talking about, or if you just want to look at a picture of pretty girls in bikinis check out this comment thread.

I’m a bit afraid to admit this, but no, I don’t know / didn’t realize it meant anything. Care to fill me in?

apparently (and this is definitely a schoolyard thing) it means you want to, ahem, take it all the way home.
