Day One: Skidding In Carts
I took a three day weekend because…well, I wanted too. I spent the first part of Friday in another golf tournament at Indian Tree Golf Course. I played like ass. My foursome didn’t win, but then again, we didn’t come in last. More importantly, I had great time golfing with three close friends and skidding around in the golf cart. Each of us drove (our golf ball that is) into at least one house or street with major traffic on it. Fortunatly no damage was done (that we could see). The evening was spent at a wedding rehersal and dinner. The rehersal was typical. Boring but necessary. The dinner was excellent. I drank silly amounts of wine and gave a toast in which I used the word “goofy” five times in a row in five sentances. I had a bunch of people tell me they liked it though. In fact I’m kind of known, among my friends, for my short but touching toasts.

Don’t you think you deserve a better, more satisfying game of golf? It can be your with SortaGolf and its Sorta 7 Amendments to the frustrating and burdensome USGA Rules of Golf.
Declare your independence from the USGA and “let freedom swing”
