Nice To Recharge
The weekend was slow. Nice but slow. It started off with a “bang”.
On Friday, I was driving out to meet my mom, her friend, and her friends daughter (whom I used to baby-sit way back in the day) for dinner at Pasquini’s. On the way there is saw some friends on 17th Ave. I honked my horn to get there attention and then stuck on hand out the window and the other across the drivers seat and wove them frantically. I passed them slowly, my head turning with them, my eye following them making sure they see me. When BAM, I bounced out of my seat as I slammed into the car in front of me. Of course my friends both heard me and saw, what must have appeared to them as me honking, then spazzing out, and then slamming into the car in front of me. Apparently they were laughing about it for hours afterward. Fortunately no damage was done to either of our cars or us. I did get a voicemail from the guy that I hit later that evening claiming there were some scratches and paint chipped off his bumper, but he must have changed his mind or not wanted to bother because I haven’t heard from him since. Between this incident, the wedding peel-out fiasco and the scooter accident, I think my bad vehicular karma is nearly through. I hope.
Saturday was pretty mellow. I slept in and then went into work to finish up some assignments I wasn’t able to complete during the week. I went and met the Bear and Ali for lunch at the CityGrille and had one of there spectacular burgers. I’ll be returning there soon, and so should you. Later that night I went out to The Bank Bar and the Rhino Room were I ran into some strangers who kept me entertained and fed me drinks till the bar shut down.
I got a wicked case of the Sunday Sads on Sunday (no shit? on Sunday?). I didn’t leave my apartment building all day. I didn’t talk to anyone again (except to say, “Have a good night,” to some girl in the stairwell). I don’t like initializing interaction when I’m in these moods. I cleaned, did laundry, played guitar, jacked off, read, watched tv, and moped about. It was nice to recharge though. Actually it was really what I needed.

I soo need a day like that, just to catch up on everything. Actually, I need more like a month.
Do you want to let me stay home and do laundry and read and masturbate, and you go into work for me?
