A Total Time
One night this last weekend I went over to my Dad’s and watched Adaptation and ate steak.
On another night this weekend I went over to my Mom’s and watched Punch Drunk Love and ate steak.
I was somehow able to relate to the main characters in both movies. And the steak was really good.
I was feeling lonely on Sunday. So I went and got coffee and ran an errand but it was a phone call that saved me.
I played ultimate this week and won. I played like shit though.
I had a total time last night too.
I never actually gave much thought about what it would be like to have a twin.

Hubs,
I love both of those movies and I love steak but that is probably because I live where Omaha Steaks are very popular.
Hang in there. I’m lonely too but I’m busy getting my house ready. Hang in there. Things will look up!
2 Adnerb Says:
don’t be lonely. write more posts! we’re all here sitting around waiting for you.
3 jules Says:
LOVED both Adaptation and Punch Drunk Love. (Are you peeking at my netflix account?
And it’s always the phone calls that save me. (That and mushy e-mails.)
4 Appleshell Says:
I ate steak last night and it was goooooood!

i used to say to my mom, “i wish i were a twin” and she’d get this horrified look on her face and say “i can barely handle one of you as it is.”
total time, huh?
6 elizabeth Says:
Did your mom like Punch Drunk Love?
7 hubs Says:
Yeah she did. She was really intrigued by the color bars and the flashes or bars of light that would happen on occasion. We watched it on DVD so we watched all the “art” scenes on the bonus disc. She also really dug the concept but I could tell that it also kinda confused her.
