  • Broadway Danny Rose (1984)
    4/10

Usually Woody Allen (and his films) draw either love or hate from his viewers. This solicited none of those responses, only the occasional weak chuckle.

  • The Kite Runner (2007)
    5/10

The movie stays (mostly) true to the (very excellent) book but somehow misses in its execution. The sugar coated hollywood ending does the story a disservice. Not bad. Not Good.

  • The Dark Knight (2008)
    4/10

Sure it’s the best Bat Man movie to date. But is that really saying very much? (Also it was waaaaaay too long.)

  • It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World (1963)
    5/10

The quintessential comedy caper. The ending goes a little off kilter (ala Blazing Saddles) but this is a classic that madcap that all movie buffs should see.

  • Burn After Reading (2008)
    7/10

A great dark comedy from the Coen brothers. More Lebowski than Raising Arizona. It also contains Brad Pitts best role since Twelve Monkeys.

knocked up had me laughing pretty loudly - and what’s more, my stepmom is a contracting publisher, and last weekend she gave me a copy of mr. skin’s book, wherein she is thanked by name in the acknowledgements.

    six degrees…
